Original Soundtrack

Original Soundtrack or OST (also Original Sound Version or OSV, especially when referring to Japanese products) refers to a compilation of the music to a TV show, movie or video game. In English-language products, the "original soundtrack" often refers only to those pieces of music written and/or recorded specifically for the TV show, movie or video game. In television, the music may also be referred to as "cues," but that may be a general term for all music used in a television show, whether or not it is original, or it may refer to non-lyric music written specifically for or arrangements of public domain music arranged specifically for a show.
