Plot Overview
A young man who insists that he was paid to pick up the money at a ransom drop winds up being arrested for the kidnapping, as well as the subsequent murder of the kidnap victim. Owen agrees to defend him, at the risk of his friendship to the girl's parents, who brought him in to drop off the money. When Owen and Danny discover that the young man was picked up in Oxnard and driven to Santa Barbara, they have to find the older man who picked him up...a man who is closer to the girl and their parents than they suspect.
