Plot Overview
L.A. police officer Chris Kelly requests a new assignment and is reassigned to bike patrol down at the beach, which doesn't appeal to her, as she's a trained Navy officer who's used to excitement. Her new partner T.C. and new commanding officer Lt. Palermo work on her to get her to lose the attitude and embrace her new role, which turns out to have a fair amount of excitement, as they pursue drug dealers, graffiti taggers and even save an addict bent on suicide. Their main concern, though, is nailing a carjacker with an interesting way of making a profit on stolen cars, one of which belongs to Malibu's mayor, none other than Micky Dolenz!
