Overview
Peanuts: I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown: Remastered Deluxe Edition is a DVD release of Peanuts specials. It includes two specials, I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown and Happy New Year, Charlie Brown. Note that a similar release came five years earlier, with the difference being that the old one was released by Paramount with this one released by Warner Home Video, and this release includes remastered video and a bonus featurette. Also, this includes a different bonus special (the one on the previous release, Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales as well as the documentary The Making of A Charlie Brown Christmas.) The DVD is set to be released in the US on October 6, 2009. The following information applies to the Region 1 US DVD release.
