Plot Overview

The heartless owner of a talk-radio station fires one of his stars, a popular radio psychologist, only to be shot to death some time afterward. The psychologist, a friend of Della's, hires Perry to defend her on Della's recommendation, and the lawyer finds other station employees with more plausible motives for murder.
