Plot Overview
An old friend of Pete's, who's now the manager for a hot new singing star, hires the detective to pay off a blackmailer who's harassing the singer, and he soon wonders if there's a connection between his case and the homicide that Jacoby is working on, that of a hat check girl at the nightclub the singer is performing at.
