Plot Overview
A prominent chef whose restaurant was bombed by mobsters refuses police protection and hires Gunn instead. Pete agrees to help the man in exchange for his assistance in getting Edie's new supper club off the ground, which begins with him making a phone call to the head building inspector so that she gets the proper permits, and eventually leads to him serving as both a Maitre D' and a chef when staff members quit on her.
