Plot Overview
A woman hires Gunn claiming that her husband, a prominent lawyer, and his mistress are planning to kill her. His suspicions are aroused when the lawyer is arrested for the murder of the mistress, a woman he claims he never saw before. Despite strong evidence--the murder gun belongs to the lawyer, a note with a gift card is in his handwriting and he was standing over the body--Pete suspects a frame-up.
