Plot Overview
No sooner does Petrocelli tell off an obnoxious politician who hired him to shut down a controversial clinic does he get hired to defend the doctor who founded the clinic. The charge: killing the rich woman who funded the clinic. He was found standing over the body holding a bloody scalpel. The prosecution insists that her threatening to cut off funding to the clinic is adequate motive, but Tony believes the doctor when he says that those type of threats were constant. The dedicated lawyer goes looking elsewhere for a motive and finds one when he looks into the doctor's assistant's background.

Another trademark of the series is Tony's response to anyone who says 'See you in court', like Alan Fudge (playing the prosecutor) says to him. His response is always, 'Yeah...that's where I do my business!'
