Plot Overview
Disbarment plus a possible seven years in prison--that's what Petrocelli faces when a witness in a murder trial accuses him of offering her a bribe. Forced to step down from the case and hand it over to a whiz-kid lawyer, Tony, with help from Maggie and Pete, seeks to clear his name and discovers that there's a major conspiracy involving a company whose divisions, a construction company and a finance company, just may be behind both the bribery charges and may have started the whole mess for his client. Even when the woman who was bribed recants the charges, it still may not be enough to clear Tony's client.
