Play for Keeps! is a game show piloted for CBS daytime in 1955.

Two contestants competed, one representing a buzzer, the other representing a bell. With a pot that started at $500, the returning champion (the bell) decided whether or not to compete against a challenger, based on the on-stage interview. If the champion decides not to play the challenger, he/she leaves with his/her winnings. If the champ decides to play, he/she bets a portion of his/her winnings and selects a category from a board of several categories. The object is to ring in and be the first to answer three questions from the category with each correct answer adding $500 to the pot. Doing so wins the wager and the championship.
