- This is possibly the most emotion-struck episode in Pokémon history. Butch and Cassidy made up villainous scheme to make Drowsee hypnotize the trainers' Pokémon including Ash's Pikachu and Misty's Togepi. Ash was upset the way Pikachu looked at him. Misty was crying the way Togepi looked at her. When they, Jessie & James and Officer Jenny found the villains' location, Ash made up a strategy: to taunt Pikachu and make it chase after him to the machine. The strategy worked as the brainwashed Pikachu used Thundershock on not only Ash but the machine as well and all the brainwashed Pokémon returned to normal. Butch and Cassidy were arrested.
