Pokémon Chronicles (known as Shuukan Pokémon Housoukyoku in Japan) is a spinoff of the regular Pokémon animated series featuring a number of supporting characters in their own individual stories.
In Japan, the Shuukan Pokémon Housoukyoku timeslot may be used for a number of things including cast interviews, movie airings, regular series reruns, or live-action events, but on some occasions brand-new "special" episodes were aired. These were later translated and renamed Pokémon Chronicles by 4Kids Entertainment.
