Plot Overview
Shortly after Pepper becomes involved with a charming radio personality, his wife is killed. Since she was taking large amounts of money out of their joint bank account, Pepper initially suspects that the dead woman was being blackmailed, and that does seem to be the case as she was involved with a rogue who is blackmailing a number of married woman. Pepper, however, soon comes to suspect that the killer is someone who was much closer to the victim.
