Lothor, a super villain, is portrayed by Grant McFarland. Two of his generals include his nieces-- Marah and Kapri, while his brother and nephew--Sensei Watanabe and Cam Watanabe, respectively--fight on the opposite side. In The Samurai's Journey, young Lothor is portrayed by Daniel Sing.

Basic Information

Once known as Kiya Watanabe, a student at the Wind Ninja Academy. He was learning under the "power of earth" banner, only to become greedy and sought out to find the Samurai Amulet. The amulet was under the protection of Miko, the Academy's first female student, and Kiya's future sister-in-law. His nephew Cam traveled back in time to retrieve the amulet, but Kiya had already stolen it. The two fought over the amulet, which eventually sent him deep into space-- where he would remain until the events of Prelude to a Storm.

Trivia

• Grant McFarland is the second actor to portray both a villain and mentor at the same time. The first being Carol Hoyt, who portrayed both Divatox and Dimitria during Turbo. However, Carol Hoyt did not portray Divatox for her entire run on the series.
