Vida Rocca, a tomboy disc jockey, is portrayed by Angie Diaz. Vida is the ninth Pink Ranger, who controls the element of wind.

Basic Information

Vida works at the Rock Porium alongside her sister, Madison and friends Xander, Chip and later Nick. When she and her friends first meet Nick, he is agreeing to help an old man, who we find out is the sorceress Udonna in disguise. Vida and Chip also agree to help, while Xander and Madison later decide to tag along. While in the woods, the five are scared into an old tree named Rootcore, home to Udonna and Clare. After revealing herself, Udonna hands them five magic wands that will morph them into Power Rangers. In disbelief they storm out, leaving their wands behind. It is then that they find troublesome enemies and need magic to bail them out.

When Vida learns that spell codes need to be earned before they can use all of the cool stuff rangers use, she gets impatient. Vida and Chip decide to set up a "Heroes for Hire" service, located next to a young boy's lemonade stand, in order to get spell codes. They do various chores such as dog bathing, yard cleaning and truck loading, only to find no new spell codes. It is then that Udonna teaches them the right way to earn spell codes, and after going into battle, they finally earn one.

While working at the Rock Porium, Vida spends her time DJing on her DJ equipment. She doesn't like when the others mess around with the equipment, which Nick learns the hard way. When she and Leelee went to a show put on by another DJ, Vida was turned into a vampire. Chip, being a firm believer in vampires, realized this and did everything in his power to help. Even going back to the club with Vida to fight Necrolai. After a pep talk from Vida, while her vampire form was suppressed, they were able to break the spell together.

Trivia

• Vida, and her sister Madison, are the only sibling duo where both the rangers are female.
• Vida is the first, and only, pink ranger to be on the same team as both a male yellow and female blue ranger.
• So far, Vida has been the only Pink Ranger to complain about her color. The only other ranger to complain about their color was Sky Tate.
