Captain William Mitchell, a retired firefighter, is portrayed by Ron Roggé.

Basic Information

When his children were very young, Captain Mitchell was in a car accident. He was able to save his daughter, Dana, but not his son, Ryan. He very reluctantly made a deal with Diabolico to save his son. However, they would not see each other again until Ryan's 20th birthday--and he had grown up to be evil.

It was also around this time that Captain Mitchell saved Carter during his duty as a firefighter. An act that persuaded Carter to become a firefighter himself. He would then personally choose Carter--and his daughter, Dana--to be Power Rangers several years later.

Trivia

• Captain Mitchell is the second of three characters to have the same given name. The first being Billy Cranston from the first four seasons, and the third being Will Aston from Operation Overdrive.
