Prêt-à-Porter is a TV series adaptation of director Robert Altman's 1994 fashion industry satire, released in the US as Ready to Wear.
The series is said to focus on the next generation, revolving around young people on the first rung of success' ladder. It is envisioned as an aspirational series about ambition thwarted, youth culture and identity in crisis, and fighting for what you want.
Like the movie, which featured a star-studded international ensemble cast, the series also will be international, employing a diverse multicultural cast.
