Plot Overview
Al believes Sam has leaped into a genuine vampire. Sam dismisses it, but there is a good deal of evidence, such as the coffin he woke up in, the castle, and his guests who seems fixated on a ritual to take place during a Blood Moon. There's also the fact that his wife will be found in a couple of days dead with all her blood drained.

Allusions and References
- There are a few references to Count Bathory. This may be based on the real Countess Elizabeth Bathory of Hungary. Her alleged brutality and murders became so legendary that many believe she may have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula.
- Al describes Nigel Corrington as a cross between a sick corpse and Bela Lugosi. The latter was an actor who famously portrayed Dracula in 1931.
Memorable Moments
Goofs
- The episode ends with Sam not being able to see his reflection, implying Corrington is actually a vampire. However, we see his reflection at the end of the previous episode on the waiting room table.
- The previous episode showed the leap to be instantaneous, but Al is wearing different clothes despite it being only a short time after Sam leaped in.
Quotes
- Al: You should see this guy, Corrington, Sam. He's - He's a first-class flesh-eater! He's got all the classic signs. He's got the pale complexion, the beady eyes, the lustful stare.
- Sam: Al, you just described yourself.
