Happenings
- Without Al, Ziggy tries to synch up Gooshie to Sam's brainwaves. As a result, he's a bit audibly distorted and visually glitchy, although it's enough that they can still communicate with each other. Ziggy then tries to do the same with Al elsewhere in the present, but it's not enough for Al to see him.
- Sam says he created Project Quantum Leap in 1995.
- There is concern about what would happen or could happen if Sam leaped and there was no one in the waiting room. However, circumstance don't provide an answer.

Trivia
The Show
- This episode gives the most extensive view of the future in the series as we see outside Project Quantum Leap for the first time since "Genesis".
Behind the Scenes
- Stiles getting ahold of the gun was explained by a scene of him overpowering a guard. However, Bellisario didn't like it and it was cut. Some shots aiming at the waiting room show the guard lying on the floor.

Quotes
- Al: Gooshie? Where are you?
- Gooshie: I'm right in front of you. Can't you see me?
- Al: If I could see you, would I be talkin' to the sidewalk?
- Gooshie: I guess Ziggy didn't do a very good job of syncing our brainwaves.
- Al: I'll take that as a compliment.
