Plot Overview

A beautiful young stewardess is found dead, with her stomach cut wide-open, and Quincy and Monahan believe that she was smuggling drugs. A narcotics detective friend of Monahan's immediately comes under suspicion as a suspect, as she was not only his informant, but his mistress as well. Quincy has two problems on his hands: one, to prevent cocaine in tablet form (like aspirin) from getting into the hands of the public, and two, dealing with the tenacious Internal Affairs cop who's bent on nailing the young narc and not caring how he does it, including twisting Quincy's words in a newspaper article.
