Plot Overview

Sabrina wants to vote in the Other Realm election becasuse one of the propositions will allow her to tell Harvey that she is a witch. However she can't vote because she hasn't figured out her family secret yet. Because Mrs. Quick figures out one of the clues in a few moments, Sabrina asks for her help to solve the family secret. Mrs. Quick is addicted to game shows so to take advantage of that Sabrina sets up a game show called the "Guess The Family Secret". Mrs. Quick figures out the first word of the family secret before Aunt Zelda finds out that Sabrina is taking a shortcut. Aunt Zelda casts a 'no short-cut' spell to stop Sabrina using any modern convenience including alarm clocks and a calculator. Meanwhile Mrs. Quick figures out the answer to the second clue and attempts to tell Sabrina. Eventually her curiosity gets the better of her and she reads the answer. She is then sent into the Other Realm Prarie with Mrs. Quick as a punishment for her shortcut. While there, an Old Man asks for her to make him something to eat.She is then forced to make a sandwich the 'hard' way by making bread and butter from scratch. By making the meal she is convinced that she will make up for her wrong-doing. It is here that she figures out the second clue. However it turns out that the Other Realm Prarie that she was sent to, was actually a tourist stop in Westbridge as ahe figures out when Valerie and Harvey turn up wearing dresses ready to perform a play.
One of the other propositions in the election is the banning of 'mental floss'. Hilda and Zelda, as always, are taking different sides. Hilda uses 'mental floss' quite frequently (as proven in this episode) While Zelda feels that use of 'mental floss' is a waste of someone's brain. Each campaign for their side and some literal mud slinging occurs.
