Salem's Lot is a horror miniseries that aired on CBS. It is based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King and was directed by horror film veteran Tobe Hooper.
The miniseries was edited together into a 112-minute theatrical cut, which was shown in some theaters and later was released to VHS, although the DVD features the entire miniseries. A sequel film was made, titled A Return to Salem's Lot, which had a limited theatrical release before being released to VHS and later DVD.
