Plot Overview
A fellow priest is the driver in an accident that took the life of a pedestrian. Trying to help his friend, Sarge has all sorts of questions that need answering, including just why the victim, a bookkeeper, was out walking at two in the morning. The further he looks into the dead man's background, the more he finds out--such as the fact that the victim did time in a Federal prison for embezzlement--and two goons are following Sarge, trying to prevent him from learning a lot more about the man and his connection to a labor union's benefit fund.
