Plot Overview
The evil Annunaki emerges from his tomb at the time of Nibiru and tries to consume Scooby, but Professor Pericles entreats him to take him instead. He does, turning Pericles into a multi-tentacled monster that not only consumes all others and also turns Crystal Cove into an inferno. Nova suddenly appears before Scooby in an ethereal light and tells him that he will know what to do at the right time. The gang's friendship proves to make the Nibiru-Pericles monster vulnerable, so they shatter the power source in the tomb, which creates an alternate timeline in Crystal Cove. Mysteries did not exist, and the gang is openly welcome. They are given a videodisc where author Harlan Ellison, who knows what they did as he jumped the same timeline and has an awareness of all timelines, invites them to a semester at Miscatonic University and that a countryful of mysteries await to be solved.
