Plot Overview
Scooby continues to have nightmares, this time regarding the Freak of Crystal Cove and a little man who appears on the cover of a book Velma has. The man, a misanthropic psychologist named Horatio Kharon, says the duplicate of him in Scooby's dream must reunite with him by means of a talisman given to Velma as the gang is put under hypnosis. They enter Scooby's nightmare landscape where a monstrous variation on the Freak chases the gang to the time periods where the previous teams of mystery solvers remained trapped with the Freak. The being using Nova as a host tells the gang that they must destroy the treasure by finding the Heart of the Jaguar, the head of a weapon found in Brazil.
