Plot Overview
Many Crystal Cove luminaries, most of them with ties to Destroido Company, are attacked by swarms of cicadas. It appears that a mysterious figure calls them and wants Destroido shut down. The gang's investigation gets too close as the Cicada master threatens them. In subplots, Fred asks Daphne for a date (to a traps museum, which first chafes Daphne, but she later accepts), and Velma still isn't ready to accept Scooby's olive branch.
