Plot Overview

Impressing Elaine's father, a hard-boiled novelist, isn't easy for Jerry or George...Jerry's worried about ruining his brand-new suede jacket and thinking about wearing it inside out, even though it has a very unmanly pink lining, and George, after seeing Les Miserables, can't stop singing "Master of the House".

• Lawrence Tierney's odd behavior on the set ensured that he (and also his character) would not be returning...Jerry Seinfeld caught him stealing a steak knife that was being used as a prop, and Tierney threatened to cut him up with that same knife!
