Plot Overview

The Itsy Mitzi Spider

Mitzi, who is deathly afraid of spiders, realizes the apartment is infested with them. She informs Yonrou, but it turns out he likes spiders. She then informs the landlady, who would rather feed her tennants to the spiders. Mitzi decides to take matters into her own hands and become "Dr. Broom." She sweeps all the spiders out of the apartment, but after one from the balcony gets under her mask, she almost falls off the second story window. Mitzi is rescued by Yu in a spider costume.

Rainal Leakage

A typhoon is headed through Kasukabe, and the Nohara family is right in the middle of it. As if the broken window isn't enough, the ceiling is now leaking. The family collects every pot, dish and cup to maintain the water, but then the fuse goes out. Yonrou pays a surprise visit through the hole in the wall, and the family comes over to his less leaky apartment. Yonrou and Hiro play a drinking game to pass the time.

Shin-Chan: The Page One Re-Write (brought to you by the marketing department)

In an attempt to boost the show's ratings, this alternate universe episode has made several changes to the show's cast. The Noharas are now a family of superheroes who fight crime in Kasukabe. After fighting off a large calling card, an evil wig is sucking off all the hair of everyone it can grasp onto. Shin, Hiro and the school children discover the wig consuming the hair off of Reincarnated Hitler, and proceed to battle it out with the tuft of hair.

Allusions and References

  • Charlotte's Web - A popular children's book, which was also adapted into animated and live action features. Mitzi refers to it as "pro-arachnid propaganda."
  • Spider-Man - Several references are made to Spider-Man in the first vignette.
  • Red Bull - A popular energy drink. Penny says she needs some after she gets tired from hopping.
  • Captain Picard, Bruce Willis, Natalie Portman - All these real-life people (and one character) Shin claims are "sexy bald."
  • Hitler - The infamous German dictator in the early 20th century appears in this episode after being re-incarnated. Apparently he was trying to go straight.

Memorable Moments

Quotes

  • Shin: If there's anything I've learned from animated movies, it's that inside every animal, insect, or car, lurks the heart of a celebrity voice actor.
  • Mitzi: Oh why don't you act like a man for once and crush those spiders with a football, or your penis or something?
  • Hiro: I am acting like a man, by not doing what you tell me to do.
