Plot Overview
Jase is in the hospital in a coma, after he stepped in front of a car following a bout of drugs and sex at a gay club. Nathan, Fi, and furtively Mani, keep bedside vigil. Nathan desperately tries to keep Fi from finding out about the circumstances of Jase's accident. Constructing ever more elaborate lies, he succeeds in enlisting a helpful nurse in the coverup. Feeling that something is wrong, Fi becomes convinced the secret everybody is hiding from her is that Jase is dying. Nathan must settle a tab with Jase's drug dealer. Jase eventually regains consciousness. Mani realizes that Nathan wants to protect Fi, rather than Jase. Nathan trips over one of his lies and tells Fi that he was trying to pick up the nurse, which makes Fi assume that his previous expression of love for her was just another lie.

- Nathan (narrating): There is the odd, very rare occasion in life when honesty is the best policy. One of them being when you're caught with your best mate's cock ring in your hand.
