Plot Overview
The show opens to Zorak behind the desk watching a live feed of mantis mating season. Moltar complains about how every seven years, it's the same thing. Zorak, however manages to find the "girl of his dreams" in the fray. Music resembling the theme to That Girl plays throughout the opening.
Space Ghost fades in, fades out again (we hear a zipping sound), and fades back in. Disgusted, Moltar switches to the lava network instead. Zorak attempts to end the show early by playing the end them music and Moltar, not paying attention, switches to the credits. Space Ghost nearly falls for it, but his superhero sense tells him that Zorak is lying. Space Ghost shames Zorak for his urges and brings out Catherine Bach. The interview is obviously hacked up and edited to be as awkward and bizarre as possible. She spends most of the interview talking about the black rhino. Zorak continues to go stircrazy, until Moltar explains to him that the female devours the male after mating. Space Ghost blasts Catherine Bach after she wouldn't stop laughing at Zorak.
Space Ghost insists that Zorak go to his planet to mate, but Zorak starts to refuse now that he knows that certain death awaits him. He changes the subject by making Matthew Sweet appear on the monitor. While the interview goes on, Zorak recants and freaks out behind the keyboard, demanding the ability to leave. After Matthew Sweet tells him to "have a good time all the time" he escapes in the Phantom Cruiser.
With no music, Space Ghost makes Matthew Sweet tell a sad story so that he can play the blues harp in order to cover up for Zorak not being around. Meanwhile, on Zorak's home planet, he has found his girl. Space Ghost realizes that Zorak is going to die and cancels the rest of the interview with Matthew Sweet, blasting him. While Space Ghost is eulogizing Zorak, he comes back to the show. He explains that the lady mantis was actually a part of the male resistance movement who had Zorak wait until the urge passed, saving his life.
