The Judds sing about how one of Wynonna's admirers expresses his affection in mathematical ways, telling her how many times his heart beats for her each minute, each hour, etc.

The prosecutor argues that the sum of two fractions must be a fraction, and claims that the sum of 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/2 is 3/10. The defendant uses coins to demonstrate that the correct sum is 1.
