After graduating magna cum laude from Duke University, Stan was drawn back into acting. He has played such diverse roles as an abusive husband on Family Law, a wistful would-be suitor on Love Boat: The Next Wave, a Washington newspaper reporter on First Monday and a military lawyer on JAG.
In 2004, Stan made his debut as a screenwriter, director and producer (Stan also appears in the film) with the comedy short Straight Eye: The Movie is available on DVD.
