Anakin Skywalker, rising star of the Jedi Order, served with distinction throughout the Clone Wars, first as the padawan of Obi-Wan Kenobi and then later as a Jedi Knight. Thought by many to be the "Chosen One" referred to in ancient Jedi prophecy, Anakin represented both the Jedi Order's hope of bringing the Force into balance and the average Republic citizen's hope of bringing the devastating war with the Separatists to a swift, decisive conclusion.

Anakin served with distinction in many of the largest conflicts in the Clone Wars alongside Master Kenobi, leading clone troops into battle both on land and in space and, at one point, even did battle with Count Dooku's Dark Jedi lackey Asajj Ventress and emerged victorious, although without a kill.
