Mrs. Ridgemount is a character on Stoked, voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow.

Basic Information

Mrs. Ridgemount is the wife of Surfer's Paradise hotel owner Mr. Ridgemount and is the mother of Lo, Ty and George. Unlike her more-stern husband, she is usually more lenient with her children, particularly Lo. She also tries being a "cool mom", even resorting at times to using hip-hop lingo when she speaks, which sometimes serves as a source of embarrassment to Lo.

Mrs. Ridgemount, who is between her late-30s and early-40s, resembles an older version of Lo with shoulder-length brown hair and a slightly fuller figure. She is assumed to be a "trophy wife" who came from a middle-class background, as she is concerned about appearances when she deals with high-society wives. She is a shopaholic and she usually brings Lo with her when she goes shopping, as Lo knows more about fashion than she does. She does not make a big deal of Lo throwing parties, and has even invited her daughter, along with Fin and Emma, to have a sleepover party at the Ridgemount penthouse while Mr. Ridgemount is away for the weekend with his sons. Conversely, while Lo sometimes thinks her mother acts embarrassingly toward her, Fin and Emma believe that Mrs. Ridgemount is cooler than their own mothers.
