Behind the Scenes
- As part of its tribute to Jack Kirby, who created the concept and characters of Apokolips and co-created the character of Dan Turbin, the funeral scene featured some of his colleagues and creations. For subsequent airings and the DVD release, they were edited out and removed. While it's never been confirmed, it's believed this change had to with the use of some Marvel characters and was the result of copyright and/or the rivalry between it and DC.
