Plot Overview
Jo visits Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where single mother Jency Williams needs help with her three kids: 12-year-old Bradley, 10-year-old Kelsee and 5-year-old Hagan. The kids constantly fight with each other; Hagan is physically aggressive towards his mother while Kelsee talks back to her.
With Jency working two jobs, she relies on her grandparents to help her take care of the kids; grandparents Hal and Carolyn voice their concerns about what Jency will do when they're unable to help her care for the kids anymore.
Can Jo help Jency learn to get a handle on her children and teach her not to constantly rely on her grandparents for help?
