Recap

18 castaways were to taken to the coast of Panama under the military air force. They are the best of the best, the all-stars, former castaways returning to play the ultimate game one more time. They had been divided into three tribes, Chapera, Saboga, and Mogo Mogo. They were left with only the machete and a map to water. Trust is an issue. At Saboga, Rudy and Rupert formed an alliance. At Chapera, Boston Rob and Amber also formed an alliance. At the first immunity challenge, Saboga fell behind and Chapera and Mogo Mogo won immunity. At Saboga, Jenna made up a plan to get rid of the former winners. At Tribal Council, Jenna's plan worked and Tina was voted out. 3 days without fire or water took its toll on the tribes. At the Reward Challenge, Saboga took the victory. The choice was to take the blankets or flint in exchange for the other tribes to take it as well as a first clue to the hidden treasure. Saboga chose the flint giving all tribes fire. But victory came at a high price when Rudy discovered that he injured his ankle at the previous challenge. At the immunity challenge, Saboga had the lead, but bailed water too soon costing them the victory. At Tribal Council, Rudy's old age along with his injured ankle sealed his fate. At Mogo Mogo Richard fought against a shark that bit him and bit it back. At the Reward Challenge, Rupert and Jerri clashed over Rupert's plan of an underground shelter. On judgment time, Rupert's stubbornness cost his tribe and Chapera won reward. At Mogo Mogo Jenna began to fade worrying about her dying mother. When the tribes arrived at the immunity challenge, Jenna decided to bow out of the game to be with her mother who died eight days after Jenna returned home. At Chapera, Boston Rob and Amber's alliance heated up. But a storm drenches down Saboga. At the reward challenge, Chapera took the victory, winning a chance to get clean and a final clue to the treasure chest that contained whisky and rice. At the immunity challenge, blindfolded members keep bumping into pieces. Chapera took an early lead, while Big Tom took a blow to the head. Mogo Mogo fell behind when Lex got lost. But Chapera lost their lead when they struggled to build a puzzle and Saboga and Mogo Mogo both took immunity. At Chapera, Boston Rob and Rob C formed a pact. But at Tribal Council, Rob C was blindsided. At the reward challenge the tribes received a twist. The tribe that finishes last will be dissolved. Mogo Mogo and Chapera kept their tribe alive destroying Saboga. Rupert and Jenna joined Chapera, and Jerri and Ethan joined Mogo Mogo. At Mogo Mogo, Colby hitched up a plan to vote out Ethan. At the immunity challenge, the tribes get physical, and Susan gets a run-in with Richard. Chapera took home the victory. At Mogo-Mogo, Colby suddenly changed his plan of voting out Ethan. Colby's last minute change worked and Richard (the first ever Survivor winner) was voted off. At Chapera, Susan got into tirade over the incident with Richard. At Mogo Mogo, Colby and Shii Ann clashed over morals. When tribes arrived at the reward challenge, Sue spoke up and threw in the towel. The tribes decided to press on with the reward challenge and Mogo Mogo took home the victory. At Chapera, Big Tom's mood grew high after Sue's departure. When the tribes arrived at the challenge, it was both for reward and immunity. It was a close race, but with Ethan struggling with the knots, Chapera cruised to victory. Chapera chose to kidnap Kathy in order to partake in the reward, thus saving her from tribal council where Colby met his match. Before the reward challenge, each tribe was told to pick a representative. Chapera chose Jenna and Mogo Mogo chose Kathy. At the challenge, Amber rolled her tribe to victory. During the night, strategy turned into romance for Rob & Amber. At the immunity challenge, Jerri's lack of accuracy with the bow and arrow costs her tribe. And at tribal council, Ethan (the last remaining former Survivor winner) was sent home. The tribes arrived to what they think was the merge. Instead, each and every tribe member switched beaches, except for Amber who remained at Chapera. She found herself vulnerable and outnumbered. At Mogo Mogo, the former Chapera members felt uneasy. But while his tribe misses their home, Rob just misses Amber. When the new Mogo Mogo tribe won immunity, Rob came over to Lex in a desperate plea to save Amber, and Amber made her own plea to Kathy. At tribal council, Lex and Kathy kept the favor and spared Amber. Because of her poor work ethic, Jerri paid the price. At the individual reward challenge, Chapera were reprieved. During the final round, Rupert burst through to victory. He chose to take Amber and Jenna with him in an overnight spa. The tribes then arrived at Saboga beach where they merged. The castaways came up with a name "Chaboga Mogo". At the individual immunity challenge, the castaways received a twist. Two immunity necklaces were up for grabs, one for men, one for women. For the women, it came down to Amber and Kathy. When Amber had trouble untying the seventh buoy, Kathy took immunity. For the men, Boston Rob and Lex faced off. Lex took an early lead heading to the final buoy. But he struggled to untie it and Boston Rob stole the victory. Before Tribal Council, Rob told Lex and Kathy, the deal was off. At Tribal Council, Lex was voted out, making him the first member of the jury. The tribes arrived at the combined reward and immunity challenge. The reward is for four rain ponchos and letters from home. In addition to winning immunity, the winner will be watching the entire video of their loved ones. Alicia, Shii Ann, Amber and Rob took home the reward and a shot at individual immunity. Rob took home the necklace. But Rob made a preposition. He offered to forgo seeing the video and give the other tribe members letters from home. The offer was accepted. After reading the letters, the scrambling was off the bat. But at tribal council, Kathy was the next to go, making her the second member of the jury. As the last original Mogo Mogo member left standing, Shii Ann decided to make a scramble. Rupert won the reward challenge and will be in charge of the menu. The whole tribe enjoyed the meal, only to see a pecking order made by Rupert. With her neck on the line, Shii Ann grabbed immunity forcing the former Chapera members to turn on one of their own. At tribal council, it was Alicia who was sent packing, making her the third member of the jury. Back at camp, Rupert and Jenna had it out over the work load. At the reward challenge, the castaways gave an embrace to their loved ones. With the loved ones competing, Amber's mom, Cheryl was eliminated first. Shii Ann's mother, Lily soon followed. Rupert's wife, Laura met her fate. Jenna's brother, Jai broke the rules by drinking water during the course, disqualifying him. In the final round, Big Tom's son, Bo sealed the reward. Big Tom chose to take Rob and his brother, Mike along to spend the night at their old Chapera camp. When Rob and Big Tom said their goodbyes to their loved ones, the all-stars struggled at the immunity challenge. Rupert, Big Tom, and Rob went for water and did not finish making fire. Boston Rob, Amber, Rupert, and Jenna ran out of matches. With her neck on the line, Shii Ann gave it her all, but Big Tom took home the victory. Now vulnerable than ever, Shii Ann tried to make alliances with others. But at tribal council, Shii Ann's scrambling failed and sent her packing, making her the fourth member of the jury. At the reward challenge, the all-stars compete for the Chevy Colorado truck and a trip to drive-in theater. Rob won the car and chose to take his sweetheart Amber along. When they arrived at the theater, Amber received a huge surprise, a Chevy Malibu Max. Rob and Amber enjoyed the movie and their first romantic date. When they arrived back at camp, jealousy sets in for Chaboga Mogo when Rupert and Big Tom decided to break the alliance of the power couple. But Rob sensing trouble orchestrated a fight between Rupert and Big Tom. Rob's lie worked. At the immunity challenge, Rob took home the necklace, but he was worried about Amber being outnumbered. After making a deal with Big Tom to vote Jenna out, Rob and Amber scrambled to rekindle the alliance of four. The scrambling paid off and Big Tom was betrayed. The final four castaways enjoyed a success of the alliance of four. Now it is every person for themselves. At the immunity challenge, Rob took an early lead, but ran in circles and Amber won immunity. Back at camp, Rob and Amber scrambled to turn Jenna against Rupert and avoid the purple rock. At tribal council, the purple rock does not come in play and Rupert was voted out. The final three take on a rite of passage of the former castaways. At the immunity challenge, it is a test of endurance. Jenna accidentally lifted her foot and Amber accidentally touched the idol with her free hand giving Rob immunity. Wanting to take his sweetheart to the final two, Rob sent Jenna packing. Rob & Amber rejuvenated their success. At the final tribal council, the jury was furious. After casting their ballots the castaways returned to the states and arrived at Madison Square Garden for the reading of the votes. Before the votes were read, Rob surprised everyone when he proposed to Amber in marriage which she accepted. In the end, the votes were cast and Amber was the Sole All-Star Survivor.
