The Show

This episode is one of several episodes that are partial remakes of scripts that Rick Husky previously wrote for other series. In this case, it's a redo of the The Mod Squad episode "Shockwave", from that series' fourth season. Here, Husky added the Christmas elements and also gave the episode a somewhat happier ending... The Mod Squad episode ends with Julie walking away from the church crying when she learns she cannot adopt the baby.
