Is the Mexico category necessary? I'm not even aware if the setting is necessarily Mexico... could be wrong though. --MateoP 12:55, 25 September 2006 (EDT)

Why wouldn't it be in Mexico? It's made in Mexico by a Mexican company with Mexican actors for Mexican TV. The whole point of doing a remake like this is to set it in your target country. If they didn't care about it being in Mexico they could have just reaired the Columbian version. Plus I did glance over the first episode synopsis and while my Spanish is a bit rusty I'm pretty sure it says one of the characters went to a Mexican University. I thought the location categories were for shows which are set in a specific location. The way you describe it here makes it seem like every program should have a setting category. Is this what you are saying? Because it seems to me from my normal navigation that most do not. --MateoP 16:10, 25 September 2006 (EDT)
Well there isn't a general "US" category for shows not set in specific states so that's why a lot of shows don't have categories. Also if a show has clues pointing strongly towards it being set somewhere specific it has been put it in that category (specifically with My Name Is Earl the writers purposefully leave the actual state vague but everything in the show points to it being in Maryland). In the case of this show I found things showing that the characters are supposed to be Mexicans so it's obviously supposed to be set in Mexico so I put it in the Mexico category. Even though it's probably supposed to be in Mexico City that's not as definite so it won't go in that category without more evidence. The-jam 17:23, 25 September 2006 (EDT)
