Midnight
How do we want to handle programming that airs at midnight? Currently, Big Brother: After Dark is listed as premiering on both February 12 and February 13 at "12:00 AM". That can't be. According to the Showtime schedule, it actually airs on Feb. 13, at 00:00 (= Feb. 12, 24:00). There are two problems here:
- To which day do we want to add midnight?
- How to express this unambiguously in terms of AM/PM/noon/midnight? (Is listing it first or last on that day sufficiently clear? Do we deviate from the exact time and use "11:59 PM"/"12:01 AM"?)
"12:00 AM" and "12:00 PM" should be avoided entirely, of course. —Naddy 07:28, 12 February 2008 (EST)
