Talk:The Price Is Right (1972)
From The TV IV
Query: Does anyone know the reasoning behind capitalizing the "Is" even though it's lower-case in the logo? (The website has it printed both ways, so that doesn't help.) -- Lampbane 21:23, 12 July 2006 (EDT)
- It is capitalized because it is a verb. The logo mixes upper and lower case, so you can't really go by it. DCEdwards1966 | Talk 21:30, 12 July 2006 (EDT)
- I understand the verb part and will fix the articles best I can, but just a note: the logo is actually consistent with its cases - "the" and "is" are lower, "Price" and "Right" are upper. But, given the grammar issues, I will assume this is more a design thing than anything else. -- Lampbane 21:37, 12 July 2006 (EDT)
- Actually the "R" in price is upper case as well. I don't think anyone wants to see "the PRice is Right" DCEdwards1966 | Talk 21:44, 12 July 2006 (EDT)
- Now you see, that's just sadistic. Those poor copy editors. -- Lampbane 11:52, 14 July 2006 (EDT)
