Plot Overview
Jeff convinces Calvin to take their English and Drama students on a field trip to an off-Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet, which coincidentally stars an old crush of Calvin's from acting class. When the president of the Concerned Parents Association refuses to sign his child's permission slip, he also demands Principal Wiggins cancel the field trip altogether. She in turn tells Jeff that he will instead take the students to the Botanical Gardens. Jeff neglects to tell Calvin of the changed plans and they load up the bus for the play. When Jeff and Calvin are found out, they face suspension and must plead their case to the board.
Meanwhile, Alice inadvertently finds herself at Headlights and discovers Tina's second job.
