Team Atlantis was an intended animated series, meant to premiere in 2002, as a sequel to the 2001 animated Disney feature Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Development
Before the 2001 feature was released, Disney had initiated the production of the TV series, but when the movie didn't performed as well as expected, the series was cancelled well before having finished production. Episodes were in various production stages at the time, from mere outlines to post-production. Three of the most completed episodes were eventually finalized and released as the 2003 direct-to-video film Atlantis: Milo's Return, with a newly animated frame story.
One notable unfinished episode, which had reached the point of storyboards and voice recording, featured the Gargoyles character Demona, and would thus have tied the two shows into the same continuity.
