Optional parameter for former names?

I was working on Science Channel which was previously known as Discovery Science and The Science Channel before being named just Science Channel. It got me thinking, should their be a field in this template for former names? I'm thinking something like this:

Former Names

Discovery Science (1999–2002), The Science Channel (2002–2007)

If we put this in, where should it go? I'm thinking under President. -Joltman 09:19, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

Uh that parameter is already there. It's used on Versus among others. It probably should be moved up though it doesn't quite fit the style of other similar templates at the bottom like that. --The-jam 10:43, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
