Modifying the Template

What do you reckon we should add-on as part of the show template? You did a good job with the conversion. I think we could also add Series Finale Date, Number of Episodes, and Number of Seasons. As well as delete the irrelevant categories like Writer and Director. What do you think? --Wizardryo 16:00, 27 Jul 2005 (PDT)

Maybe also country of origin. And I think there should be different color-coding to differentiate it from the episode template, but I've been fiddling around with color codes and they all look like crap.

Also, there's only been three comments in this talk page and it already looks cluttered. I don't know how those Wikipedians do it. The Lost page looks pretty good. I'll try to upload some more pages later on when I come back. Hopefully, the templates will do for now. --Wizardryo 16:26, 27 Jul 2005 (PDT)

What exactly is "Country of origin"? Many shows involve different entities from different countries doing different things. For example, is Stargate SG-1 "from" Canada, The US, or both? Which aspects contribute to "origin". Clear definitions for the other fields would be nice too.--Hai-Etlik 07:22, 19 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Good ideas

We could also add Production Company. I fixed all the things you said. I also made a page for Lost to test it.

thinking about a possible solution

I think it would serve most of the people reading this wiki to have the logos go to the page, instead of having people see the more technical pages on the site off the start. But the copyright info doesn't show, so thinking about adding a section to the bottom that says something like "Abc.gif logo is used as fair use (TV channel logos). ~~ MarkDilley

Section for wiki?

Think it would be cool if the last entry was for the link to the wiki for the show. What do others think about that? ~~ MarkDilley
