Plot Overview

Dennis tells Alex he doesn't want to be the head of World Oil. Iris and Paige continue to have words about her being a gold digger and then Billy Joe and Bernie arrive and Bernie invites Vivien to the Chicken Coop. Maggie tells Jeb and Elena what a nice couple they make as Courtney arrives. Elena tries to let Courtney know how close and Jeb are but then Courtney tells Jeb that she can't be with him because of the life he leads and that she needs stability. Bernie calls the boss and tells him that he can pick up the invitation at the Coop. Shelly talks to Paige and Dennis and then Iris suggest to Alex that Shelly is no longer needed while Paige thanks Alex for offering to train Dennis to head up World Oil. Bernie gives the boss the invitation and then Elena and Jeb come in and Bernie pays Jeb who complains about not making more money. Kevin tells Courtney that Gulf Coast wants him to find job in another town and so he is leaving. Jeb decides to go and play poker with the guys. Terry sees Alex and Paige tells Ryan how nice she thinks it is for him to show Dennis the ropes at World Oil and to leave town for Barrett and Ginny. Then the boss hands his invitation to Rikki. Elena waits while Jeb plays and wins at poker and then Elena tells Jeb it is time for their 2nd set but the boys and Jeb say he isn't playing. The boss, Christopher Shaw, enters the party and meets Paige and the others and Paige agrees to meet him later after the reception.
