Plot Overview

Reena tells Max she doesn't understand his not wanting to drill for oil. Elena tells Nita singing isn't any fun anymore and she should give it up and then Billy Joe tells them that Elena is going to sing on television. Elliot tells Vicky that Roger Williams was in a coma the whole time he was in Washington and passed on last night but he left a letter. Jeb tells Barrett there is no was the cellar door could have closed by itself. Reena tells Max she can't live like this much longer. Elliot tells Vicky the letter clears his name but he can't say any more to anyone at this time and then they discuss Barrett's mental state. Jeb questions Barrett about Ginny's accident and how they couldn't find him at any of the ranches and then Ginny walks in. Elena doesn't want to do the TV appearance but Maggie helps convince her to do it. Dennis find Elliot with Vicky and Elliot learns Chris was murdered. Reena gives Justin the 1952 oil survey. Dennis tells Elliot he doesn't want to talk about Chris Shaw. Ginny tells Jeb that Barrett is a changed man and that he had nothing to do with her being locked in the cellar. Elena wonders how she will get through without a pill and then Rikki shows up. Justin tells Reena there is a good chance there is oil on Max's land and then he leaves when Vicky arrives for lunch. Elliot tells Dennis to talk to Paige but Dennis says he can't. Rikki tries to support Elena. Elliot tells Paige that Dennis still loves her. As everyone watches, Elena comes out to sing but freezes. Barrett tells Ginny that he is bothered that Jeb would think he had anything to do with Ginny's accident. Jeb calls Jim Barr's inn but is told he will have to wait until tomorrow for info. Rikki bails Elena out by singing "Slow Dancing Under the Stars". Elliot tells Paige that the film will turn up sooner or later and then when he leaves Paige remembers going into Chris' office and seeing him on the floor and talking the film which she is hiding in the closet.
