Plot Overview

Billy Joe see the trailer torn apart and Jeb tells him they should call the police. Kate gives Justin the cold shoulder. Max tells Reena he may have a way to make their life better without drilling for oil. Jim Barr calls Barrett and tells him that Jeb Hampton was asking questions. Max tells Reena of a new breed of cattle that would get them money in a couple years and he offers to do more social things with Reena. Jeb leaves and a happy Elena tells Billy Joe that Jeb and Courtney have split up. Barrett tells Ginny that Jeb is trying to undermine him and he won't stand for it. Justin tells Kate that he is going to see Mr. Harper about drilling on his land. Reena tells Max about Elena being in the paper and suggests he go and talk to her. Elena tells Billy Joe that she isn't getting involved with Jeb again. Justin tells Kate there is a girl he wants her to meet and have dinner with. Donovan tells Billy Joe and Elena that whoever torn the place apart may come back since he didn't find what he was looking for. Justin tells Ashley that he needs an appointment with Alex when he gets back to the office but then Ryan tells her that he will be taking care of Alex's appointments for the rest of the day. Ginny tells Barrett she had nothing to do with Jeb calling Jim Barr's Inn and he says that he is going to put a stop to Jeb interfering in their lives. Max tries to convince Elena to leave singing and find a respectable job but she says singing is her life. Barrett tells Jeb that he knows about his call to Jim Barr and asks what he is up to. Barrett threatens to kill Jeb. Ashley asks Ryan about his opinion of Justin. Justin tells Reena he is drilling for oil on the Harper place. Elena tells Max that she is going to be somebody but he doesn't understand. Justin tells Ryan that he wants to lease the Harper place to drill but Ryan isn't in favor of it. Ashley plays back on her mini-cassette recorder her conversation with Ryan. Ginny breaks up the fight and then Barrett accuses Jeb of thinking he locked Ginny in the cellar to keep her away from Ryan. Barrett tells Jeb he wants him off the ranch and never to come back.
