Plot Overview
Justin tells Ashley he needs to speak to Alex and offers to take her to dinner. Elena decides she has to stop taking pills. Paige calls Elliot at Dennis' and tells him that the police think she killed Chris. Dennis asks Elliot not to talk about him with Paige. Justin asks Ashley for Ryan's opinion of him. Elena takes some pills and then Skip arrives and asks if he can take her to dinner. Skip notices how nervous Elena is and tells her that police wouldn't think she is a suspect in Chris' murder and then they hear Elena's song on the radio. Paige tells Elliot that she has the film ad hoshe got it and asks his help. Vivien arrives to talk to Dennis. Vivien tells Dennis that she once had a secret from Rudy and was afraid to tell him and that is probably how Paige felt. Elliot agrees to help Paige get rid of the film. Skip leaves after eating with Elena at Maggie's and then Billy Joe tells them and Nita that he has booked Elena to perform at the Lone Star Cafe in New York City. Maggie tells Elena not to worry so much and get some rest. Vivien cheers Dennis up. Elliot chats with an officer at the Club bar. Paige puts the film in a bag and leaves her suite. Justin tells Ashley that Alex has agreed to them drilling for oil on the Harper property and then Justin calls Bubba with the news. Maggie tells Billy Joe to go easier on Elena because she is worn out and Nita tries to figure out where she has seen Skip before. Donovan catches Paige trying to leave with the film. Justin and Ashley chat while in bed about her tape recorder and how it can remind people of what they have said. Nita tells Billy Joe that she has seen Skip hanging around outside the apartment building like undercover cops do. Donovan talks to Paige and Elliot tells her he will do all he can to help her. Elliot tells Dennis that Paige is about to be arrested for Chris' murder because she has the film and then they realize Iris may have been the one to tell the police.
